Holiday Reminder

The St. Jacobs and Aberfoyle Model Railway will be open on holiday Mondays this season from 10 AM to 5 PM, starting this week-end, Monday May 22nd.  A great opportunity for your family to visit because most other businesses may be closed.  If you look at our Facebook page, our friends have rated us 4.9.  Come by and see for yourself.

New Hours of Operation – We’re open more this season!

IMPORTANT NEWS for all our fans.  Please check the Hours of Operation tab.  We are happy to let you know that we will be open more often this season.  We’ve added Thursdays to our schedule in the busy summer months of July and August.  Visit the St. Jacobs market in the morning and come to see our 1957 model trains in the afternoon.

Family Day Weekend and March Break a Big Success

A big THANK YOU.  This years’ Family Day Weekend and the Spring School Break were a big success for us, thanks to you, our many families and friends.  The 12 days were a great way for us to start 2017.

The Weather Got Us

Due to the late winter storm happening on Monday afternoon and more that is forecast for tonight, the St. Jacobs Model Railway will NOT BE OPEN on Tuesday March 14.

Weather permitting. we will reopen on Wednesday March 15 at 10:00 AM.  Sorry for any inconvenience to your Spring Break plans.

School Break Week 2017

This year’s school break is March 13 to 17, so the St. Jacobs Model Railway will be OPEN DAILY from Saturday March 11 to Sunday March 19.  If you’re looking for a fun day with the family, we suggest your visit the village and include a stop at our famous model railway.  Lots to see, lots to check out, lots of action on the St. J. Railway.  See you here.

Railway “Winter Works” Completed

All our volunteers have worked very hard for the past 6 week-ends to complete our annual “fix, adjust and clean everything” schedule.  For you, our visitors, that means that our trains will put on a good show for your visit.  If you haven’t visited before, now is the time.
